      <image:title>Home - How can I help?</image:title>
<image:caption>The counselling I offer will help with many problems including: anxiety and panic attacks, stress, depression, bereavement and loss, self-harm, post-natal depression, illness, relationship breakdown, redundancy or you may be feeling stuck and overwhelmed and need to find a way forward. My aim is always to help my clients to help themselves in order to live a more satisfying and fulfilling life. I provide a safe listening environment but am able to effectively question and challenge to help clients experience those ‘light bulb’ moments. I use an integrated approach, drawing on a range of skills and techniques, (including CBT and Rewind Trauma Therapy), taking my lead from what is most appropriate for each client.</image:caption>

<image:title>Supervision - Building on my extensive experience of providing counselling and therapy in various settings, I offer supervision as part of my private practice work. I know from my own experience that supervision has been vital in celebrating the successes and navigating the many challenges which come with being an effective therapist. This personal experience of supervision, and the support and challenge it provides, forms the foundation on which my theoretical learning has been built.</image:title>
<image:caption>I hold a BPS Approved Certificate in Clinical supervision. I aim to offer a warm, non-judgemental environment where supervisees can safely think through their concerns and confusion and gain a greater understanding of their working structures, skills development and the support they need. I am able to work with both students and the more experienced professional and would be very happy to talk with you about the supervision I offer. Please do get in touch.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Rewind Trauma Therapy - Rewind Therapy</image:title>
<image:caption>Rewind Therapy (RT) has become internationally recognised as an effective way to treat PTSD or any kind of post traumatic stress. This effective treatment allows ‘closure without disclosure’ in adults and children and can greatly reduce, or even remove, traumatic or phobic symptoms. It usually requires no more than two sessions to bring about closure for single traumas. The memory does not need to be described to the therapist. Through guided imagery, the Rewind offers a way of permanently stopping the involuntary recall of a traumatic event. The event becomes appropriately stored in the brain so that only voluntary recall remains. I am a trained Rewind practitioner and offer Rewind therapy as a stand alone therapy or as part of the counselling and therapy process.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Rewind Trauma Therapy - What is Trauma?</image:title>
<image:caption>Remember, it was trauma even if: It felt like trauma at the time but now you wonder if it was really that bad It felt like trauma at the time but now you wonder if you made it up You think it was trauma but people told you it wasn't At the time, you didn't think it was trauma, but now you realise the impact it is having Others have told you that you imagined it</image:caption>
